CARRANGUERO’S HEART FOUNDATION
Following the reception given to the website www.carranga.org in it’s 4 years of work and with the intention of formalize the process that is generate in there, with the hands and hearts of La Vieja Zoila and Renato Paone, CARRANGUERO’S HEART FOUNDATION comes alive, and is dedicated to the promotion and diffusion of Carranguera Music in the globe. One of the first actions is the organization of the SECOND NATIONAL BUREAU OF CARRANGUERO’S THOUGHT, in the region of Santander for the upcoming month of July.
For November is the big carranguera’s surprise, with the participation of all carranguero’s guild, the private company and the media.
The website www.carranga.org is the virtual arm of world scope of CARRANGUERO’S HEART FOUNDATION and to open these new roads, by our side is KAREN MARTÍNEZ, the new communicator of this dream that each day walks towards the consolidation of our carranguera’s music.

ESCUELA DE MUSICA CAMPESINA of COTA, CUNDINAMARCA
At this time the country music school forward a project called ”Traveling School” The idea is to go to places that require support to strengthen the musical processes of their region, always focused on country music. We already made our first visit to the village school in Santa Barbara TINJACA Boyaca. There we did some merengue technical work and the whirlwind guitar, tiple, guitar and guiro. The workshop participants were in the group Culture Carranguera Cota, each assignment of an instrument, all coordinated by the director of the School of Music Peasant Cota. Additional we involve a process in Dance with a teacher skilled in traditional Colombian dance, the idea with this approach is that the musicians have a direct object of our work instrumental to our body. The result of our visit was the installation of dance LA MANTA HILADA, a whirlwind pace and the dancers were the musicians TINJACA school and took Cota and live music. Bringing Down the Whirlwind EL VIEJITO DE MI TIERRA Man and formed several groups working on the format carranguero of 4, there was rotation of members. It was a successful experience. In the process we will soon Itinerant School visits to: San Miguel de Sema, Bogota, TINJACA
